COVID-19 has brought a surge in food insecurity, at the same time that the pandemic upended normal operations for local food banks. The amazing community leaders at Food Share launched outdoor food distribution events in the spring and C.R.E.W. teams jumped right in. Team members also help each week in the HELP of Ojai food pantry by sorting donations, filling food boxes, and any other helpful chores.
