Board of Directors
James E. Clark II – President & Chairman
Jim is a rancher and is also the owner of Clark Corporation and Pacific Pride in Santa Paula, and is an active trail rider. He has widespread knowledge of front and backcountry trails. His knowledge of the wilderness is utilized during liaisons with the U.S. Forest Service.
Walter J. McCall - Chief Executive Officer
Wally has over 25 years experience as a Health Care Corporate Executive and Business Consultant to government, hospitals, and professionals. He serves as a Ventura County Juvenile Justice Commissioner, as well as a member of both the Ventura County and Ojai Student Absenteeism Review Boards. He is also on the Board of the Los Padres Forest Association Ojai Chapter and the Ojai Valley Fire Safe Council. He holds Masters Degrees in Public Health and Anthropology from UCLA.
Todd Kelley - Vice President
Todd has a degree in Business Administration and is also a certified Disability Management Supervisor. He is also on the Executive Board of the Ojai Valley Family Shelter. He currently manages a Return to Work Training Program at Nordhoff Highschool.
Jean Garcia - Secretary
Jean is a Board member of both Equestrian Trails, Inc. and Tri County Ropers Association. She is past President of Equestrian Trails.
Dick Weirick - Treasurer
Dick is a retired realtor, avid hiker, and is heavily involved with local service organizations, including Rotary.
Patrick Loughman, Esq.
Pat is an attorney with Oxnard attorney firm of Lowthorp, Richards, McMillan, Miller, Conway & Templeman. He assists the C.R.E.W. on all legal issues. He is an avid outdoorsman.
John Chapman Morris
John is President of William L. Morris Chevrolet-Oldsmobile in Fillmore and is owner of Braemore Ranch. He is on the Board of Directors of the Fillmore Rapid Transit District. John rides with the Rancheros Vistadores and is an avid outdoorsman.
Larry Reilley
Larry is owner of insurance agency, Austin, Reilley & Doud. He is a licensed insurance broker, as well as an avid horse rider.
Ron Wilson
Ron is an active supporter of Ojai Valley youth programs such as Young Americans and school fundraising. He is an investor and product development specialist in the area of Biotech and medicine.
Advisory Council
Rob Brokaw
Rob is the owner and manager of Brokaw Nursery, Inc. in Saticoy and is an avid backpacker.
Tony Thacher
Tony is the owner and manager of Friends Ranches and is closely associated with the Thacher School. He has been an active Board member since 1994.
Jim Vitanza
Jim is the owner of Peregrine Art Galleries in Santa Barbara and Montecito. He is also active with the Santa Barbara Historical Society.
Allan J. West
Allan is the Retired National Deputy Director, U.S. Forest Service. He has also served on the C.R.E.W. Board since 1994. He is currently a consultant to agriculture and government.
Richard Wilson
Richard has been a ranch owner for over 40 years. He was formerly the Director of The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. He has served as a Board Member of both the State Coastal Commission and State Board of Forestry as well as a Trustee of the Thacher School.
