Chief Executive Officer - Walter McCall

Wally McCall was named as Executive Director of the C.R.E.W. in December 1998. In 1999, he served as a Ventura County Juvenile Justice Commissioner for 8 years. In 2001, he formed the Ojai Valley Fire Safe Council. He is also a member of the Los Padres Forest Association Ojai Chapter Board. In 2008, he was elected to the Board of Directors of the California Fire Safe Council.

Wally is a graduate of UCLA, where he obtained an MSc in Public Health and an MA in Cultural Anthropology. In 2002, he earned a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Cal Lutheran University.

Wally has twenty years executive experience in the fields of Health and Alcohol and Drug Dependency Treatment. In addition to managing Adult and Adolescent Drug Treatment Programs he has worked as a consultant on State, County and tribal Mental Health and Drug Treatment Programs in California, Washington, Iowa, Oregon, and Montana. In 2002, he received Ventura Rotary's First Annual Vocational Excellence Award.

Administrative Manager - Rob McCall

Rob has worked in the Crew office for the past 5 Summer and Spring school breaks. Since his graduation from UCLA in 2009, he has assumed responsibility for Crew administrative functions and fundraising events. He also assists with proposal writing and handles all CREW correspondence and office functions.

Office Staff - Michael Mayers

Mike is currently a student at Ventura College in field of Biochemistry. He formerly worked as an executive assistant for a high end wine store in Los Angeles, and is an avid outdoorsman. He will perform functions both in the office and in the field as a supervisor.
